Street barbers were a common sight in Singapore during the 1950s. They operated out of makeshift sheds in alleyways and the five feet walkways of shophouses.
This pair of Miniature Stories collectible figurines depicts a Chinese street barber cutting the hair of his customer, who is seated in front of a table and mirror. His barber’s tools are loose items which can be placed on the table. The swivel barber chair that the customer is sitting on has a turning mechanism for added realism!
