Tailor and Customer Figurine Set

SKU: SH017
S$138.00Price
  • During the 1950s in Singapore, outfits were usually either home-sewn or made-to-measure by tailors and seamstresses. In those days, tailors were trained by the British and in turn took on apprentices who learned on the job.

Our miniature collectible figurine set depicts a tailor taking the measurements of his customer inside his shop. He comes with a shelf lined with bales of fabric, and a mannequin with a cheongsam. This piece is designed to be placed inside our Singapore Heritage Shophouse building model (sold separately), but displays beautifully as a standalone as well.
