Indian Lady in a Saree Figurine

SKU: SH020
S$61.00Price
  • In early Singapore, the traditional outfit of choice for Indian women was the saree (also spelled sari). The saree holds deep cultural significance for Indians. And despite its long history, it is a timeless piece of Indian clothing, and is still very much worn in Singapore today – either in its traditional form or with a modern twist.

Our collectible figurine depicts an Indian lady dressed in a yellow saree with green trimmings. Shopping basket and purse in hand, she displays very well with any of our hawker or vendor figurines, such as the Vegetable Seller or Chicken Seller (each sold separately).
